Anja Kellner: a story of growth and dynamism at CPC INOX
From Customer Care to Key Account Sales: growing at CPC INOX
A career path is not always a straight line. Sometimes it grows from experience, curiosity, and the willingness to challenge yourself.
That’s exactly what happened to Anja Kellner, who at our German branch began her journey in Customer Care, working closely every day with customers and internal teams.
“That experience was fundamental: it allowed me to truly get to know our customers and understand how the company works from the inside.”
With the recent reorganization of the sales structure, a new opportunity opened up for her: joining the Sales team as a Key Account.
“The transition felt natural. By working with customers, I developed a growing interest in the commercial side and a desire to contribute to strengthening relationships.”
Today, Anja manages strategic clients, bringing with her a key asset: a deep, firsthand understanding of their needs, developed over years in Customer Care.
“Having that perspective really helps me build strong relationships and find the right solutions.”
Her journey clearly reflects something we strongly believe in: growth opportunities come from people and their talent.
“Here I found a dynamic environment and a team that supports you when you want to step up and challenge yourself.”
We are happy to see people grow together with the company.
Congratulations to Anja on this new chapter in her professional journey!

Can you briefly tell us who you are and your current role in the company?
My name is Anja Kellner , living together with my husband in a nice small town just 15 minutes far from the office and I am working as a Senior Key Account in CPC.
How long have you been working at the German branch and how did your journey here begin?
I am working for CPC almost 17 years and everything started in the customer care, being then a Sales Assistant and now working as a Senior Key Account.
When you joined the company, you worked in Customer Care: what were your main responsibilities?
I had to book orders, making offers and take care of all the requirements, needs and questions of the customers.
What did this experience teach you about customer relationships and how the company operates?
The most important point was that everything has to do with a very good relationship to the customer to understand his needs. The customer must have the feeling that we are not only a supplier, we are a partner who wants to be on his side to manage all the needs whatever it is.
How did the opportunity to move into the Key Account Sales role come about?
Due the last years I managed the office in Germany partly by my own and due to all this experiences, it came to this point now.
Was there a specific moment or project that revealed your commercial mindset?
I always worked in this way but during the time of Corona and now these wars it is much more important to see our customers as partners to go through these hard times. We are sitting all in the same boat and the target is to go through these times together as good as we can. So, thanks to our company philosophy we can be very flexible and are in a good position to help our customers in their needs.
Which skills developed in Customer Care are helping you today in your sales role?
Our program where I can see all the planning of each machine, the possibilities to do offers and see at the same time on which machine it can be produced so that we can give the customer a much more precise information and the conversation with the other departments to get more overview about the market situation.
What does your current role as Key Account Sales involve?
Having the complete overview about the customers and their needs, booking single orders and contracts, doing offers, organization of transports, being in contact with the purchasing department for checking about new purchases, general organization of the office in Germany.
What excites you most about your new role?
The trust CPC is giving to me to fullfill this new job.
How important was the support of the team and the company during this transition?
Very important, it is never possible to do this by your own and I am thankful to have these people next to me to build this knowledge and experience to work standalone.
In your opinion, what makes this company an environment where professional growth is possible?
I think trust is the key word. If you like what your are doing and you are working with all your strength what you can do and achieve then there is trust and this is one of the most important thing. We should never forget that we are working for a company who is doing everything possible for his people to work in a steady and strong company.
What advice would you give to a colleague who wants to develop new skills or change roles?
Work like it is your own company.
Looking at your journey so far, what are you most proud of?
I haven´t lost any customer so far and received again and again the confirmations from different kind of people that what I do fullfill the needs of the customers and company.
How do you see your next steps within the company?
The job of a Senior Key account is fulfilled with many different kind of jobs and its responsibility + the organization of the German office I am happy how it is.
