CPC INOX WINS VIVASERVIZI TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF NEW WATER SYSTEM
The company’s Hydra-To-Zero system, which reduces water loss and wastage to zero, will soon be installed in nine municipalities in the Marche region with a project to lay 460 connections
We are happy to announce the agreement with Viva Servizi Spa, the company that manages the water network in the province of Ancona, for the installation of 460 connections stainless steel for the capital of the Marche region and the municipalities of Falconara, Senigallia, Jesi, Fabriano, Matelica, Sassoferrato, Esanatoglia and Cerreto d’Esi.
CPC Inox, won the tender that will allow the water network in the Province of Ancona area to undergo a thorough renovation with a view to greater efficiency and lower consumption. The company Viva Servizi spa, Manager of the Integrated Water Service, has chosen our sophisticated Hydra-To-Zero project, a system composed of pipes and fittings made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel, characterised by a unique processing that gives the material corrugations capable of making the conduit flexible and bendable, to adapt to any roughness and tortuosity of the laying area and to allow it to absorb telluric movements of any kind once in place.
This particular conformation of the stainless steel pipes makes it possible to almost completely eliminate water wastage in public and private facilities, saving not only money but also the environment.
The AISI 316L stainless steel chosen by CPC Inox is the ideal material for new-generation piping also because of its many other qualities: it is flexible, strong, hygienic, easily repairable, fully recyclable and highly durable, with a service life of one hundred years and a negligible failure rate.
Presented last autumn at the Accadueo international trade fair in Bologna, the Hydra-To-Zero project won the BFWE Award, a significant recognition for the sector, in the Materials section, and today represents a concrete tool for a drastic reduction in water waste in Italy, where the national average of water losses exceeds 40%[1], also in the light of the age of the national piping systems, where more than 85% of piping systems are between 60 and 70 years old and would need a thorough renovation.
Hydra-To-Zero has already been successfully tested in 19 laying trials in Lombardy, Tuscany, Sardinia, Malta and the Marche region. itself.
We are happy to contribute concretely to reducing water wastage, which has led some municipalities in our country to serious inconveniences over the years. Hydra-To-Zero represents a valuable tool for the efficiency of the water network and we are pleased that Viva Servizi has chosen it for the 9 municipalities of Ancona and its province”. said Stefano Cardinali, CEO of CPC Inox. “Stainless steel is a cross-cutting and sustainable material that lends itself to many uses; as CPC Inox, we are constantly investing in R&D to demonstrate the many applications it can have. This new installation of Hydra-To-Zero represents the value of the project, which combines a virtuous saving of water, with a view to environmental sustainability, with the equally important one of economic sustainability, drastically reducing losses and wasteful consumption.
