Sustainable team building: together with Forestami we plant new trees in Gessate

A morning of teamwork, sustainability and concrete commitment to the local area.
On February 26, the CPC team took part in a corporate team-building day with Forestami, dedicated to planting new trees and shrubs in the areas surrounding our headquarters in Gessate (Milan).

The initiative is part of the broader Forestami project, which CPC has been supporting for several years. The project aims to plant 3 million trees by 2030 across the metropolitan area of Milan, helping to improve air quality, increase biodiversity and strengthen the region’s green heritage.

A team-building experience that brings people and the environment together

This year marked the second edition of the tree-planting initiative organized with the direct involvement of CPC employees.

The first experience had already generated great enthusiasm among participants, creating high anticipation for this new edition. Once again, the team responded with energy and engagement, turning a team-building moment into a concrete action in support of the environment.

The results of the morning speak for themselves:

  • 🌱 375 trees and shrubs planted

  • 🌱 about 2 hours of on-site activity

  • 🌱 14 members of the CPC team involved

During the activity, shrubs and young oak trees were planted, species that over time will help enrich local biodiversity and generate environmental value for the area.

Enhancing the local area through collaboration

The Mayor of Gessate, Lucia Mantegazza, also took part in the collective tree planting, highlighting the importance of collaboration between businesses, institutions and local stakeholders in delivering shared sustainability projects.

For CPC, initiatives like this represent much more than a simple team-building activity. They are opportunities to enhance the local area where the company operates, strengthen dialogue with local institutions and build partnerships that make it possible to involve an increasing number of stakeholders in environmental projects, improving their impact and long-term effectiveness.

An ongoing commitment

The day concluded with the awareness of having contributed, together, to a broader environmental regeneration project.

Special thanks go to Forestami for making this initiative possible, and to the entire CPC team for their commitment, enthusiasm, and team spirit.

Small actions, when they become collective efforts, can truly make a lasting impact.
